KARACHI: Leaders of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Pakistan Muslim League Functional (PML-F), held a detailed discussion on matters pertaining to the Local Government System-2011.

The meeting of PPP, MQM and PML-F leaders was held at Sindh Chief Minister House here on Saturday, said a statement.

The participants of the meeting presented their proposals and discussed various aspects of the Local Government System-2011.

They agreed to discuss all proposals with their respective party leaders and would meet again after Ashura-e-Muharram.

PPP leaders including Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq, Agha Siraj Durrani, Muhammad Ayaz Soomro and Rafiq Engineer attended the meeting.

Syed Sardar Ahmed, Dr. Sagheer Ahmed, Kanwer Naveed Jameel, Wasey Jaleel and Waseem Akhter represented MQM while PML-F was represented by Imtiaz Ahmed Sheikh.
