EDUCATION is our basic necessity to understand all fields of life and solve problems from the basic to the complex. It is the ultimate wealth and power for a person. We all know that knowledge is power, so education shapes the personality of a person to integrate him/her into society.

The education system of Pakistan is facing some serious problems. First, it is lacking in adequate funds for proper infrastructure development.

Second, there are several parallel education systems in Pakistan which create disparities among people.

Third, there is a lack of creative and practical education which could provide fuel for research and innovation in society.

Fourth, there is a lack of technical education also.

Fifth, teachers in government schools are not well-trained.

Poverty is also another factor that restricts parents from sending their children to private schools.

Finally, the education system is unable to meet personality needs of students to make them true human beings who can serve society. A problematic education system will not serve Pakistan. A modern society needs well-mannered and disciplined members who can fit into it and serve it well. Illiterate, unskilled and undisciplined people have no room in society. The government should take some solid steps on the issue. Technical education must be provided to all classes.

Both the government and civil society must play their part where improving the quality of education is concerned.
