LAHORE, Nov 29: The Cable Operators Association will stop relaying from Wednesday foreign channels telecasting programmes containing materials against Pakistan and its armed forces.
“We appeal to the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) to cancel landing rights of BBC London and other channels maligning the country,” the association’s president Khalid Arain said at a news conference at the Lahore Press Club on Tuesday.—Staff Reporter
