Consultations in progress, says Fahim

ISLAMABAD, Nov 18: PPP leader Makhdoom Amin Fahim has said that consultations for the formation of government is still in progress with MMA leaders and expressed the hope to reach consensus by Tuesday.

Talking to journalists here on Monday at the Parliament House after filing of nomination papers of PPP candidates for NA Speaker and Deputy Speaker, he said after election of the Speaker and Deputy Speaker they would negotiate for the office of PM with MMA.

He said the ARD would finalize candidates for all top parliamentary offices with consultations.

Besides formation of the government, talks were also in progress with MMA on the LFO and other policy matters, he added.

Mr Fahim said that noting was impossible in politics and he was hopeful that all matters would be settled soon at the ARD platform.—APP
