KARACHI, Nov 23: Four ships, including a car carrier with 300 units, are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where three ships, Ponente, to unload load general cargo, APL Cyprine, with containers and Queen Arrow-1, a bulk cargo loader were berthed after the departure of five.

The ships, which departed included STX Patriakos, Hyundai Freedom, Cape Mass, Oocl Busan and Ponente, while Sioux Maiden, Marilena, Queen Arrow-1, Lodestar Genesis, APL Cyprine , Fade-1 and Formosaproduct Alpine are due to sail out on Thursday.

A total tonnage of 0.101m tons, comprising 49,749 tons of export cargo and 50,767 tons of import tonnage, was handled on Wednesday.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Alliance Charleston, with 300 vehicles, YM Fuzhou and Parmis, with containers and Maistros, with high-speed diesel.
