ISLAMABAD, Nov 18: The People’s Party Parliamentarians has decided to take disciplinary action against its MNAs who will vote in speaker’s election against the party candidates, PPP sources said.

The party has already initiated the process of issuing show cause notices to those who had openly talked against the party line and announced formation of a forward bloc, the sources said.

PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto had approved a decision under which the members of the so-called forward bloc would be persuaded by the party leaders to stop their anti-party activities else would be issued show cause notices after which their party membership would cancelled, the sources said.
