KARACHI, Nov 18: Sindh Governor Mohammedmian Soomro will be the chief guest at a seminar organized by the National Institute of Child Health (NICH) to celebrate the World Children’s Day here on Nov 20.

A press release issued here on Monday said that the senior paediatrician and the NICH Director, Prof Zeenat Issani, a human rights activist, Zia Ahmed Awan, and the former education secretary, Sindh, Mehtab Akber Rashdi, would discuss the measures adopted in the country in accordance with the UN Convention on Child Rights.

The public figures who are expected to attend the programme are Jimmy Engineer, Fatima Suraiyya Bajya and Fouzia Siddiqui, the chairperson of SADA Foundation.— APP
