KALAYA, Nov 20: Seven militants were killed in a gunfight with security forces in Dabori area of Orakzai Agency on Sunday, officials said.
Two vehicles of militants were destroyed.
The sources said that militants attacked security personnel in the area adjacent to Khyber Agency, injuring one member of the forces.
Heavy retaliatory shelling left seven militants dead and destroyed two vehicles.
Meanwhile, several families living in Mamozai area were seen on Sunday heading towards Tora Warai and Neryab areas of Hangu district, fuelling fears that fighting between security forces and militants might be intensified.
