FBI team arrives in Pindi

RAWALPINDI, Nov 17: An FBI team arrived here on Sunday night to track down suspected Al Qaeda members, a source said.

The FBI team, comprising around one dozen personnel, entered Rawalpindi on Sunday night as part of its ongoing search for Al Qaeda members, the source said.

However, when a top official of the Rawalpindi police was contacted, he said he had no knowledge of the arrival or presence of the FBI team in the city.

Reportedly, the FBI team may conduct raids somewhere in Rawalpindi before dawn as part of their ongoing search for Al Qaeda men.

The security has already been tightened in Rawalpindi and Islamabad — specially at Islamabad airport.
