SWAT: Nazim warns profiteers

SWAT, Nov 17: The district Nazim, Dr Mehboorur Rehman, said that strict action would be taken against the traders who were found involved in profiteering.

Speaking at a meeting at the district secretariat, the Nazim said that the profiteers would be dealt severely.

He said the steps were being taken to make the city pollu-tion-free.

In connection with the gas shortage being experienced in the area, the Nazim told the meeting that contacts had been made with the gas companies and hoped that the problem would be solved soon.

He said that Tehsil Naib Nazim Akbar Shah was appointed as coordinator for price-control during Ramazan.—APP
