Abid, Natasha bag honours

ISLAMABAD, Nov 16: Abid Ali of Root’s School and Natasha Afridi of Prepatory School grabbed singles title of the 5th ITF Inter School tennis championships 2001 at Pakistan Sports Complex Friday.

Abid overwhelmed hapless Yousaf Ajam of Prepratory School 6-0, 6-1 while Natasha ruthlessly outgunned Sayra Khan of Beacon House in another one-sided final 6-0, 6-2.

Root’s School, Islamabad, won the team competition of boys event with St. Mary being the runners up. Preparatory School snatched girls team event with Root’s School in second place.
