Bahria College dominates

ISLAMABAD, Nov 16: Bahria College Islamabad won the tennis, table tennis and basketball titles in the Federal Board Inter- Collegiate sports competitions.

In the final of the tennis tournament against Sir Syed College Rawalpindi, Bahria’s Usmanul Haq beat Muneeb 6-2, 7-5 while his college-mate Usman Jawed outplayed Ghazali 6-2, 6-3.

The Bahria pair of Ali Ahmad and Karar Husain captured the table tennis crown by winning all five matches in the championship which was held in Gilgit.

The cagers meanwhile won more silverware for the college, edging out Fauji Foundation College Rawalpindi 39-31 in hotly contested competition.

Bahria College were runners-up in the football and squash tournaments as well.
