HYDERABAD, Nov 16: Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) clinched the 8th All Pakistan Umed Ali Kaimkhani football trophy, defeating Habib Bank 1-0 in thrilling contest at Wapda Sports Ground Friday.
The trophy winning was scored in the 30th minute of the second half by striker Imran Baig.
The forwards of Habib Bank particularly Shahid Saleem made several combined and individual movements to score the goals right from the beginning of the match, but the goal keeper Mehrab Khan and defender Fahim Ahmed foiled their attempts.
Habib Bank lost a great chance of going ahead in the 32nd minute of the first half, when Shahid Saleem rattled the post.—APP
