LARKANA, Nov 16: Two dacoits were arrested with a dispenser treating one of the injured outlaws and owner of the house where he had taken refuge here on Thursday.

The dacoits who sneaked into the house of Malik Aghani with the intention of robbery were offered armed resistance by the villagers resulting into the injuries to the dacoits identified as Shahzado Chandio and Ghazi Chandio.

The villagers caught Shahzado Chandio and handed him over to police.

SSP Larkana told Dawn police chased the fleeing bandit and raided the house of Khan Chandio in Lahori Mohalla where a dispenser Raza Mohammad Mugheri was treating him.

Police arrested the injured dacoit Ghazi Chandio with the dispenser and the owner of the house.

Ghazi Chandio was wanted by Khairpur and Larkana police in numerous cases of murder, robberies, and police encounters, the SSP added.

Both the injured dacoits have been admitted to Chandka Medical College Hospital.
