Bilqis Zardari’s Soyem held

NAWABSHAH, Nov 15: The Soyem of the late Bilqis Zardari, wife of Hakim Ali Zardari and mother of Asif Ali Zardari, was largely attended on Friday by a large number of people, including politicians, from all over the country.

Prominent among those, who attended the solemn occasion and offered their condolences to the grief-stricken husband of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto, Asif Zardari, included Ghulam Murtaza Khan Jatoi, Aaqib Khan Jatoi and Ali Jan Rind, Kamal Azfar, Barrister Sultan Mehmood, Asadullah Bhutto, Sikander Hayat Rind, Syed Shaukat Shah, Pir Mazharul Haq, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Sardar Chakar Khan Shahani, Ghulam Qadir Bhutto, Ghulam Qadir Chandio, Inayat Ali Rind, Agha Siraj Durrani, Khalid Mehmood Soomro, Yaqoob Zardari, Abdullah Khan Chandio, Pir Ali Akbar Shah and Rasool Bakhsh Palijo.

CONSTABLE HURT: A constable was hurt in a dispute between officials of two police stations over jurisdiction in the Nawabshah city.

The dispute occurred after the SHO of A-Section police station raided in the jurisdiction of the B-Section and arrested 10 persons, involved in selling of “Parchi prize bonds.”

This led to a clash between the policemen of the two police stations, in which a constable, Afzal Jatt, was injured.
