GUJRANWALA, Nov 15: A local court on Friday summoned an SHO and issued him a show-cause notice for keeping a shopkeeper in an illegal confinement.

A bailiff raided the Sabzi Mandi police station, recovered the shopkeeper from the lock-up and produced him before court. Arshad was present in his shop when police picked him and detained him in the lockup at the behest of his rivals. — Correspondent
