PESHAWAR, Nov 15: Four alleged proclaimed offenders killed three and injured two of a family over a minor dispute here soon after Iftar on Thursday in the jurisdiction of Badhber police station.

Yar Mohammad, son of Sher Mohammad, a resident of Gandahab (Mohamand Agency), told police that four persons wanted in crimes— Chaman, Mohmand, Gohar and Said Azam, sons of Gul Azam— had come to a site of molasses making, which belonged to his family, in Badhber area.

Sher Mohammad, son of Lal Mohammad, and his brothers Yar Jan, Shah Mohammad, Mujahid and a relative, Ajmal, were busy in making molasses, when the accused had come and asked his father to lend them a large quantity of molasses. But Sher Mohammad had refused.

On his refusal, the accused had opened indiscriminate fire and killed Sher Mohammad, Yar Jan and Shah Mohammad on the spot and fled.

Mujahid and Ajmal had received bullet injuries, who were rushed to Lady Reading Hospital.

In the meanwhile, another person was killed in the same locality over an old enmity on Thursday morning.

Nisar, son of Moqadar, told the police that four persons of their rival family including three brothers— Iqbal, Nouman alias Manay and Tahir, sons of Sarbuland— and Naeem Jan alias Boragai, son of Azam Khan, came to his home, shot dead his brother Minhaj and fled.

Nisar said they had old enmity with the Sarbuland family.
