Budget discussed

ABBOTTABAD, Nov 16: Convener of the district assembly Javed Abbasi has assured the members of the house that the next budget will be prepared by the members of the district assembly.

This he said while presiding over the budget session of the Abbottabad district assembly on Friday.

Members who spoke on the occasion included Abdullah Khan Tanoli, Sardar Fazal-ur-Rehman, Tahir Faraz Abbasi advocate, Azam Khan and Zauq Akhter.

The members presented various suggestions for the utilization of government abandoned land and buildings like the GTS stand, Cantt police station and others. The members also demanded allocation of funds for the union councils on the basis of population.
