HYDERABAD, Nov 15: The Preston Institute of Management Sciences and Technology (PIMSAT), Karachi, has announced that it was setting up faculty of engineering for conducting the courses of BE (Electronics), BE (Computer System) and BE (Telecommunications) at its Hyderabad campus, Unit No2, opposite Public School, Latifabad.

The Faculty would start functioning from Jan 11, 2003.

The last date for submission of admission forms has been fixed as Dec 16, 2002. The forms can be collected from the institute’s Hyderabad campus.

PRE-ENTRY TEST: The University of Sindh on Friday asked the candidates, appearing in the pre-entry test for admissions to masters degree programme on Sunday, Nov 17, to bring admit cards otherwise they would not be allowed to appear in the test.

This was stated in a notification issued by the university’s director of admissions.

It further stated that the admit cards would be checked at the main entrance of the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Sciences (IMCS), Jamshoro.

Candidates have also been advised not to bring any book, pencil, pen or purse with them.

The students’ buses would ply from the Sindh University Model School, Elsa Kazi Campus, Hyderabad for Jamshoro on Nov 17 at 7.45am and would cover the Market and Hirabad routes while the buses for teachers would ply from Latifabad via Qasimabad and also from Old Campus via Market and Hirabad at 7.45am
