KARACHI, Nov 14: The government has decided to wind up the Sindh Arid Zone Development Authority and will treat all the employees of the authority as government servants from the date of joining for the purpose of pension liabilities.

According to an official handout on Thursday, the competent authority had announced the winding up of the Sazda and the employees after being declared as government servants, their services were placed at the disposal of surplus pool of Services, General Administration and Coordination Department for further adsorption in various departments of the Sindh government.—APP
