LAHORE, Nov 14: Seasoned player Shah Shamyl Alam stole the limelight by scoring six goals, enabling Millennium Bug to enter the final of the Global Telecom Polo Cup tournament, defeating Mega Infra 7-5 1/2 in the semifinals at the Lahore Polo Club ground Thursday.

Sufi Haris scored the remaining goal for the winners.

For Mega, Agha Murtaza and Ahsan Javed Sher scored two goals each while Hasan Raza Gillani added a goal. The losers had half goal on handicap.

Shamyl gave Millennium Bug a flying start of 4-0 scoring three goals in the first chukker. Sufi Amir scored one goal.

Mega staged a comeback in the second chukker by scoring three goals against one by their opponents. Agha, Ahsan and Hassan scored a goal each for Mega. Shamyl struck his fourth goal for Millennium to extend the lead 5-3 1/2.

In the third and the fourth chukkers, both teams scored two goals each. Shamyl scored his fifth and sixth goal for the winners. Ahsan and Agha slammed a goal each for the losers.

Earlier, Opinion Attitude beat Travel Quest in the subsidiary  semifinal  6-4 after struggling 0-3 till  the  second chukker.

Usman Hayee with four goals played a key role to bring back Opinion Attitude in the game and eventually win it. Babar Monnoo and Adnan Lone added one goal each.

For the losers, Irfan Ali Hyder Irfan Ali Hyder played well and scored three goals. Kamran Nooruddin chipped in one goal.
