Bus driver blocks road

LANDI KOTAL, Nov 14: The main Peshawar-Torkham highway was blocked for all kinds of traffic for one hour on Wednesday after a scuffle between protesting students and a bus driver.

The bus driver parked his vehicle in the middle of the road at Charwazgai after students of Government Degree College, Landi Kotal, pelted his bus with stones. The bus was carrying female school teachers to Peshawar when attacked by students.

The college students, complaining about the lack of transport facility, tried to stop the bus aggressively and wanted to take it home.

But the bus driver allegedly began abusing the students. The students retaliated and began smashing the windows of the bus and also attacked the cleaner.
