ISLAMABAD, Nov 14: A 32-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself in his house in G-10/2 sector on Thursday.

According to the police, Sohail Sarwar had been in distress for quite some time due to financial problems. On Thursday, Sohail was found dead when his sister went to his room after he did not come for Iftar, the police said.

Sohail’s body was handed over to his parents after some paperwork.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Ramzan, who was critically injured after his van fell into a ravine in Margalla Hills, died in the hospital late on Wednesday night, police said.

Seven other passengers, including the van driver, were injured in the accident.

GIRL MISSING: A two-year-old girl disappeared under mysterious circumstances after she left her house in Bakramandi on Thursday at 4:30pm, police said.

Zoya, the daughter of Dr Mohammad Qasim Khan, was playing in the courtyard of her house when she went missing, the police said.

Dr Khan lodged a complaint with the R.A.Bazaar after his efforts to find his daughter proved futile.

He appealed to the person who might be holding her: “She is too little to tell her name, please let her go because her mother is in distress.”

The police said efforts were underway to find the missing girl.
