SHIKARPUR, Nov 14: The chief of the Awami Tehrik (AT), Rasool Bux Palejo, has said successive governments have failed to improve the living standard of the people of Sindh.

He was speaking at an Iftar party, hosted by Aqeel Abbas Soomro, Nazim of union council-2, on Tuesday.

He said the rulers, instead of resolving problems of people, had plundered the country.

Palejo stressed the need for launching a joint struggle for the rights of people.

He pledged he would work for the restoration of fundamental rights of people.

KILLED: A villager, Shakil Bijarani, was shot dead by a group of Ogahi tribesmen in Ghari Tegho on Wednesday.

The motive behind the killing is said to be an old enmity.

The Naparkot police have registered a case against 10 persons, including Allah Dino, Ali Hassan and Rahim Bux, of the Ogahi tribe.
