Fazl condoles with Asif

NAWABSHAH, Nov 14: The Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal leader, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, has said the MMA has not arrived at any agreement with any party for the formation of a government, and has kept its options open.

Maulana Fazl, who arrived at Zardari House here on Thursday with the PPP chief Makhdoom Amin Fahim, was talking to newsmen, after offering condolence to Asif Ali Zardari.

He said he was still the MMA candidate for the office of the prime minister, but that was of secondary importance; his priority was the MMA manifesto.

He said President Pervez Musharraf would have to get himself elected by parliament as the MMA had already rejected the presidential referendum.
