UK team on defence review mission

RAWALPINDI, Nov 14 : A four-member defence delegation of United Kingdom led by Lt-Col David Caulfield, Director of Overseas Military Activity, UK, is currently visiting Pakistan in connection with the periodic review of the decisions of Defence Consultative Forum (DCF) between Pakistan and the UK.

According to a Defence Ministry press release, the last meeting of Defence Consultative Forum was held in London on March 2. Besides other matters, it was also decided at the meeting to hold a review meeting every six months to check the speed of implementation of plans and to remove obstacles, if any, in the way of quick implementation.

The head of Defence Consultative Forum review mission, Lt-Col Caulfield, along with other members of his delegation, on Thursday held meetings at the ministry of defence and Joint Services Headquarters to evaluate the progress made by both the countries since the last DCF meeting.
