LAHORE, Nov 13: Four goals by Shah Qublai Alam and Sufi  Haris earned NBC and Global Telecom narrow victories as two more matches were decided in the Global Telecom Cup Polo Wednesday.

Qublai scored a hat trick to help Global Telecom beat Vogue/ Guard Rice 6-4.

Qublai scored his hat trick in the first chukker to give his team 3-0 lead. Ahmad Zubair struck the fourth for the Global converting a penalty near the goal post to increase the lead.

Vogue/Guard Rice scored their first goal through Talha Saeed in the second chukker. But Jamal Iftikhar again extended the Global lead to 5-1 by scoring a field goal in the third chukker.

Javed Mawaz Khan and Taimur Malik were on target for the losers. Qublai scored his fourth goal in the fourth chukker.

Four goals by Haris enabled NBC to beat Galaxy 7-5 1/2.

The losers got an early lead when Nasir Ahmad Khan, who  in all  scored three goals, struck his first in the opening  chukker by converting a 30 yard penalty hit, the lone goal of the chukker.

NBC roared back in the match scoring seven goals in a  row from the second chukker to fourth to get convincing 7-1 1/2 lead. Haris started the rally scoring his hat trick. Abid Nawaz scored two goals while Agha Bilal one and Haris added his remaining  one goal.

Galaxy launched a recovery operation and scored four goals before the final chukker was closed but only to reduce the margin.

Their Nasir Khan scored two more goals while Feroz Gulzar and Aslam chipped in one goal apiece.
