Triumph for Miandad XI

RAWALPINDI, Nov 13: Javed Miandad XI crushed Imran Khan XI by eight wickets on the second day of the Twin City Cricket Academy Under-15 Championship at the Pindi Stadium Wednesday.

Taimour Javed struck a fine 40 as Imran XI scored 143 for six off their 20 overs while batting first. Faizan Riaz (31) and Ijaz Hashmi (20) also made useful contributions. Awais Ashraf captured two wickets for 10 runs.

Miandad XI scored the required runs in 18.4 overs for the loss of two wickets. Faizan Riaz picked up both wickets. Awais Ashraf was declared Man of the Match.
