KESC, Afghan FC win

KARACHI: Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) and Afghan FC triumphed in the two 8th Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) matches played at the Sadiq Shaheed Football Stadium in Quetta on Friday.

KESC edged out Police 1-0 with the golden goal coming in the shape of a penalty-kick utilised by Akbar Ali in the 74th minute.

Afghan FC too beat Habib Bank Limted 1-0.

The goal was scored by Himmat Ali in the 88th minute.

Saturday’s fixture: Army v PAF (3.30pm) at Municipal Stadium, Rawalpindi; Baloch FC v NBP (1.00pm) at Sadiq Shaheed Football Stadium, Quetta; Muslim FC v KPT (3.30pm) at Sadiq Shaheed Football Stadium, Quetta.
