NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Oct 12: A doctor and a school teacher were kidnapped on Tuesday night and their car was found abandoned at a place identified by the kidnappers who made a phone call.

Dr Nisar Ahmed Abbasi of Bhirya town taluka hospital was going in his car along with his friend Abdul Qayoom Sehto, a high school teacher to Ranipur from Khan Wahan to get his son admitted to a college when they were kidnapped.

Munawar Abbasi, brother of Dr Nisar received a call after midnight from the kidnappers who demanded Rs5 million ransom. Police impounded the car which had been left at Moro toll plaza.

Hundreds of students and teachers of the government high school took out a procession demanding immediate recovery of the kidnapped men.—Correspondent
