LAHORE, Nov 12: Abu Zafar Haneef, former principal, Sadiq Public High School, Bahawalpur and ex-bursar, Aitchison College, died here on Tuesday. He was 85.

He is survived by three daughters, including Mrs Nosheen Tahir, director, sport, Kinnaird College, Lahore. His two other daughters are based in USA.

He was buried in New Muslim Town graveyard. The funeral was attended by a large number of relatives, friends and old students.

Quran Khwani for the departed soul will be held on Thursday at 3 pm at Masjid Faiz Road, Old Muslim Town, Wahdat Road, behind Butt Sweet Shop.—APP
