LAKKI MARWAT, Nov 12: The district police have arrested an accused involved in kidnapping for ransom and carjacking in Kot Kashmir, here on Monday night.

District police said a contingent of the Serai Naurang police intercepted a pick-up near Matora and arrested Saifur Rehman, after a shotout. The other accused escaped in the pick-up. The police seized one AK-47 assault rifle with 60 rounds and a hand-grenade.
