HYDERABAD, Nov 12: The controller of examinations, University of Sindh, Jamshoro, on Tuesday announced the names of position holder students in M.Sc, psychology, final semester examination of 2001.

Seemab Khan, daughter of Aziz Ahmad Khan, secured first position, Sanoobar Chohan, daughter of Abdul Sattar Chohan, secured second and Sara Hussain, daughter of Muzafar Hussain Shah, secured third position.

The controller of examinations also announced the names of position holders in M.Sc, psychology, final semester examination of 2000.

Farhat Jokhio, daughter of Maula Bux Jokhio, secured first position, Fozia Farzana, daughter of Habibullah Siddiqui, secured second and Safia Shaheen, daughter of Mohammad Hashim Samo, secured third position.

In another notification, the controller announced the names of position holder students in M.Sc (honours), psychology, final semester examination of 2000.

Rehana Umrani, daughter of Mohammad Saleh Umrani, secured first position, Furqan Ahmad, son of Munir Ahmad Qureshi, secured second and Imran Ahmad, son of Mohammad Yousaf Khiliji, secured third position.

The names of position holders in M.Sc, botany, final semester examination of 2001, were also announced.

Sadia Sadaf, daughter of Atta Hussain Siddiq, secured first position, Qurban Ali, son of Jan Mohammad Magsi, secured second and Sajjad Hussain, son of Fakir Bux Leghari, secured third position.

SEMINAR: Research scholar Zulfiqar Ali Chughtai gave his presentation on “The Role of Public Opinion in the Making of Pakistan Foreign Policy from 1971 to 1988” at a Ph.D seminar at the department of international relations, University of Sindh, Jamshoro, on Tuesday.

The scholar, who is an assistant professor at the department of international relations, University of Balochistan, said his research was based on descriptive evaluation.

He said the bibliography was composed of more than eighty books besides critical analysis of more than one hundred research articles of different Pakistani scholars written in different defence and strategic magazines on ideology, geography, security, national interest, nuclear and Kashmir issues.

He said more than 150 editorials of Dawn and The Pakistan Times, Lahore, were evaluated.
