KARACHI: Two leaders of the Awami National Party (ANP) were killed outside the party office in Sachal area of the city on Saturday. Another activist was injured.

Police sources said four armed men on two motorcycles opened fire on some ANP workers.

Sachal SHO Azhar Ali Iqbal said the firing left three men injured who were taken to the JPMC, where two of them died.

A spokesman for the ANP said they were ‘targeted’ only because of their association with the party.

The deceased were identified as Jamal Khan and Khan Zaman.
