LAHORE: The ninth International Plastic and Packaging Industry Exhibition was inaugurated here at the Expo Centre on Thursday by Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Shahzad Ali Malik.

The exhibition is being attended by over 100 companies from 19 countries, including Afghanistan, Austria, Belgium, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Poland, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, UK and US.

The show offers latest in plastics, printing and packaging material and machinery for all manufacturing and processing industries along with food ingredients and chemical products.

The event, actively supported by Ministry of Food and Agriculture, Board of Investment, Engineering Development Board, Pakistan Agricultural Research Council, PCSIR, Pakistan Society of Food Scientists and Technologists, the All-Pakistan Fruit and Vegetable Exporters, Importers and Merchants Association, attracted numerous business delegations, consuls-general and buyers.
