ISLAMABAD, Sept 26: An 80-member trade delegation of leading Pakistani businessmen, led by Minister for Commerce Makhdoom Amin Fahim reached Mumbai on Monday on a five-day visit.
The delegation was received by Shahid Malik, High Commissioner of Pakistan to India and Harsh C Mariwala, President, Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), Pakistan High Commission sources in India said.
Later, Amin Fahim called on Governor of Maharashtra, Shri Sankaranarayanan. The delegation will attend an FICCI sponsored conference on Tuesday.
The minister will also travel to New Delhi on Tuesday and hold formal talks with the Indian Commerce Minister on Wednesday.
Federal Commerce Secretary Zafar Mahmood and Chief Executive of Trade Development Authority of Pakistan Tariq Iqbal Puri are also accompanying the minister.—APP
