KARACHI, Nov 10: The coordination committee of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement has asked those families who were allegedly displaced from their houses in the so-called “no-go areas” in Landhi, Korangi, Malir, Shah Faisal Colony and Lines Area to contact Nine-Zero and submit details, for facilitating their rehabilitation.

According to the MQM, about 1,200 families were forced to flee their hearth and homes following bloody clashes between the two groups of the party.

The MQM issued the advisory in the light of President Musharraf’s directive to the law-enforcement agencies to ensure rehabilitation of the displaced families and to end the forcible occupation of their homes.
