KARACHI: The KESC Head Office in Karachi on Monday faced an angry demonstration by its employees as police tried to control the situation by dispersing them, DawnNews Reported.

A clash broke out between the employees and the police, which resulted in aerial firing and shelling as authorities tried to calm down the demonstrators.

According to DawnNews, the KESC employees were protesting because they had not received their salary before Eid al-Fitr.

Seven people were injured as a result of shelling.
