TAXILA, Aug 19: Two policemen were booked on Thursday for negligence in duty as the register of First Information Report (FIR) had gone missing.

Clerk (moharar) Mohammad Hayat and his assistant Tahir Iqbal of Hassanabdal Saddar police station were booked under section CD-155 of police order as the FIR register had gone missing. Taking serious notice of the negligence, District Police Officer (DPO) Dr Akhter Abbass ordered probe into the incident and ordered registration of case against the accused policemen under the police order. — Correspondent
