MULTAN, Nov 5: Local students have moved the Lahore High Court, Multan Bench, against the change recently made in the criteria for the entry tests for admissions to medical colleges.
Shehzad and Mehvish Batool, both pre-medical students of Multan, said in their petition that earlier students with 65 per cent marks in their FSc examinations were allowed to participate in the entry test. But now, only those having 70 per cent marks are allowed to participate.
The court directed the AAG to get instructions from the respondents including the Punjab health secretary and the Admission Board Committee chairman and submit reply on Nov 7.—APP
