HYDERABAD, Nov 3: The Bhittai Nagar police arrested a man, Ali Nawaz Channa, for opening fire on the house of his brother, Haji Channa, in Gulab Chandio village late Saturday night.
Ali Nawaz Channa was opposed to the marriage of his niece. So he went to his brother’s house in an aggressive mood. He opened fired in the air.
Haji knew that Ali would be coming so he had called the police in advance. Both the police and Haji opened fire injuring Ali in the process.
Ali was arrested by the police and a rifle was recovered from his possession.
