ISLAMABAD, July 31: As part of his ‘dialogue with the nation’ initiative, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani will hold consultations with eminent educationists and vice-chancellors from across the country on Monday.

This will be the third meeting under the initiative launched by the prime minister to formulate a national policy to counter the growing trend of intolerance by enhancing the level of understanding among the masses. The initiative is aimed at encouraging free discussions on all issues confronting the nation.

Under the initiative, the prime minister held very productive interactive sessions with the country’s renowned intellectuals and artistes on July 25 and July 29.

The recommendations made at the meetings will be incorporated by the prime minister into his speech for August 14 and will ultimately become part of an overall policy to address the menace of terrorism.

The eminent personalities who will be attending the Monday session of the dialogue include Mehtab Akbar Rashdi, Prof (Dr) Pirzada Qasim, Begum Afroze, Mazharul Haq Siddiqi, Sarwat Ali, Dr Saleem Akhtar, Dr Faqeera Khan Faqri, Prof (Dr) Asmatullah, Prof Salma Masood, Prof Fazal-e-Rabbi, Prof Elvin Adwin, Dr Abdul Razzaq Sabir, Allauddin Masood, Dr Anwar Hussain Siddique, Samina Qadir, Yasin Masoomzai, Dr Rubina Kamran, Abdul Hameed Memon Sindhi, Nisar Ahmed Siddiqi, Mohammad Ali Deplai, Prof Mehdi Hassan, Sabiha Mansoor, Safia Ibad, Rubina Qureshi, Iqbal Jatoi, Dr Khadim Hussain, Abdul Shakoor, Nargis Zaidi, Sadiqa Salahuddin, Dr A.H Nayyar, Irfan Awan, Sadruddin Pardhan, Prof (Dr) M.
