KALAYA, July 18: Eight militants and a security man were killed in a gunfight in Dabori area of Orakzai Agency on Monday.
The militants attacked a post in the area, killing a security man, an official of the political administration said. Eight militants were killed and three others injured when the troops retaliated.
Heavy artillery and tanks were used by the security forces to repulse the militant attack.—Correspondent
