LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif said Friday that stronger democratic political parties could guarantee Pakistan’s security, prosperity and the federation’s stability.

Addressing a meeting of PML-N’s Sindh coordination committee, Nawaz Sharif said: The development of democratic culture in political parties is due to the elimination of personal and political interests.

He further said that “national consensus is the need of the hour.”

Nawaz also said that the PML-N had “accomplished to bring to end former military ruler Pervez Musharraf’s dictatorship” with the help of people.
