LAHORE, Nov 14: The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) hinted changes in the national team and its management on account of unsatisfactory performance in the recently concluded Champions Trophy.

Commenting on the performance of the present team management the PHF secretary claimed that the results achieved so far were far from satisfactory.

He said that the changes would be announced 15 days before holding the training camp for the World Cup. The camp was expected to start in the last week of December.

He said that the federation was not expecting a miracle from the aging Shahbaz Ahmad Senior, but under the circumstances he did a good job..

The PHF secretary said that the PHF was planning to hold international tournaments in January and June next year and have invited England, Germany and Holland for January’s event. Malaysia, India, Korea and Japan have been extended invitation for June’s tourney.
