KHAIRPUR, Oct 28: Two sisters were killed and their parents were seriously injured after their car veered off and hit a tree late Sunday night on the Kumb-Pakka Chang link road.

The accident occurred after Dr Nazeer Hussain Memon, en route to Nawabshah along with his family, lost control of the car.

His two daughters, Sumera, 18, and Saima, 12, were killed on the spot while Dr Memon and his wife, Ruskhsana, 45, received serious injuries. They have been shifted to Nawabshah along with the dead bodies of their daughters.

LOAD-SHEDDING: The Luqman sub-division of Hesco suffered a three-hour-long power breakdown on Sunday evening.

People suffered difficulties because of suspension in power supply as businesses and trade activities were hampered.
