Pervaiz claim

Published October 28, 2002

LAHORE, Oct 27: Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, PML-Q candidate for chief minister, said on Sunday that he would complete his cabinet in three phases.

Talking to reporters here, he said he would bring in a cabinet that no district would feel unrepresented. However, he did not say the number of ministers he would appoint.

Independents who had joined the party would also be given fair treatment, he promised.

Mr Pervaiz said he was aware of the problems of the province and would give priority to health, education and agriculture.
