Britain concluded its naval training mission in Iraq on May 22, 2011, whilst more than a dozen of bombings had killed Iraqis in a week. Exactly three bomb attacks marked Iraq’s Monday morning – a car bomb targeting the convoy of a police commander in Kirkuk city, killed two policemen and wounded 12 other people, another parked car exploded in eastern Baghdad causing damage of many shops, including seven liquor stores, and a road-side bomb wounded six people in the western district of Khadra, an Interior Ministry source said.
