Two gunned down by nephew

JHANG, Oct 22: Two men were shot dead allegedly by their nephew over a land dispute in Tabro Sahmal village, 50 kms from here, on Monday evening.

According to the FIR, lodged with the Barana police, Chiniot tehsil, Muhammad Hayat had occupied the land of his uncles Khizar Hayat and Abdullah.

Khizar and Abdullah went to the Tabro Sahmal village house of Hayat on Monday evening to persuade him to vacate their land.

During discussion, Hayat got infuriated and opened fire, killing his both uncles on the spot.

Police registered a case against the accused who were at large till late on Tuesday night.
