why not the ex-proffessional players take action against the worthless ijaz butt and get a more credible chairman.How long will we tolerate this incompetent hag?

I dont know when we will get rid of Ijaz Butt. I think he is a double agent who wants to destroy Cricket in Pakistan and benefit God knows who. GOD SAVE THE CRICKET IN PAKISTAN.........

Afridi has done well lately both as a player and a captain.He should not have been removed as captain. Very rightly said this decision "defies logic".

Difference of opinion between captain and coach is nothing new and happens in all sporting disciplines. It is not confined to Pakistan or to cricket alone. This sort of differnce in opinion should be there and taken as a corrective measure or to improve the standard. What Afridi, however, was not supposed to do was to break the rules and comment to the press. Such a captain is dangerous and can instigate intrigues. I am in favour of his removal, and after having said that, Misbah is not the right replacement either.

Isn't Wasim Akram the same person whose name had figured prominently among the people involved with match-fixing? Amazing... to see and hear this person associated with IPL or any cricketing matter for that matter. Just shows how badly ICC has been managing the whole match-fixing fiasco

Wasim is so right. Ijaz butt gas just been a nuisance for cricket. His tenure is the dark era if Pakistani cricket.

the removal of Afridi from captancey shows that we have no discipline in our decisions,such stupid decisions will not devide team combinations only, but also open doors for new controversies.

Mr. SK Wasim Akram was the SWING MASTER. Who also took Pakistan to the Finals of World Cup and it was the Batting that Killed US again. We have superior cricketers in the Market but we don't value them. Akram is a bowling Coach for IPL team. I don't understand why not for Pakistan?? I tell you cause we don't treat or pay them good to keep them. We have talent but we don't keep them. Mr, Ijaz Butt need to take his head out of his and think straight. You need a leader in Pakistan Team not a Captain Status who thinks a lot of his self. Misbah is one of the best Cricketer I ever watched but he is not a good captain. Mr. SK game fixing is been going on for ages, we all just got know now. No one said anything when IMRAN KHAN was a Captain for the Team. No Coach made a big deal when Imran said that I will choose the team. Because I am the one who had to play with them. Guess what Mr. SK We won the World Cup... Imran was not the main figure in that team. It was the Team who were the winner. Mr. SK I hope you understand what I am trying to tell you. Coach should keep it till coaching and suggestion. The ultimate selection should be CAPTAIN of the team.

why replace afridi from captaincy?

afridi should be removed out of pak team for good. When will people realize he not worthy as captain, batsman, and bowler against the big guns. This should have happened long time ago.. and find the right person! Each time he opens his mouth he embarrasses pak. Not saying PCB is right as thats a complete different story...

Shahid Afridi as one day captain has done a splendid job.Taking Pakistan to semi-finals of the One day World Cup itself a creditable achievement.Petty differences in opinion between persons should not result in such unpleasant action.

this is the first best decision of ijaz butt , infact afridi should have been removed from captaincy even before the WC. and now after his performances i think afridi doesnot deserve to be in the team . we lost t20 WC and one day WC only due to afridis poor captaincy other wise our team was the best.

I support PCB's decision to sack Afridi as a captain of Pakistan team. He is a irresponsible man. I understand he was angry, but the language he used on the T.V was racist and would further aggravate the provincialism in the country.
